Hard Work #1 JC
I sit here in this Coronavirus 'pandemic' a lot of things have come to my mind so I decided to finally start the Hard Work Blog. If you are new to The School of Hard Work I am Jay Crawford one of two owners. The other proprietor is Steve Sattanino, he will be writing these blogs as well. If you need more of an introduction visit our youtube page and watch our first few podcasts.
I'm sitting here stuck in my house, has now been a week due to the coronavirus 'pandemic'. I can't help thinking about all of these conspiracy theories I have been hearing. Before being forced to leave my best friends at college, we were already talking about some conspiracy theories we had seen or heard. The first theory that everyone is talking about is that China did this on purpose. I would certainly hope they would not do such a horrific thing, but some things do not add up. For one, Doctors who tried to warn the world about the Corona Virus were being silenced. The Guardian put out a tremendous article on it you can see it here. Furthermore, China sat on this for a month before finally coming out to tell the world, one month is a huge head start for a virus like this. I am not an expert whatsoever, but this is all very suspicious. Especially when our economy is being affected the way it is. Conveniently after our President has waged a trade war with China recently.
Like most things, this that wasn't the only conspiracy that has come out of this pandemic. Steve was also telling me some conspiracies about the hacking group anonymous. Apparently, the group has been putting out cryptic messages, even having a green 'A' projecting on the capital building last week. They are saying that some suspicious activities might occur if we go into a quarantine lockdown like Italy. Posts are saying our phones are going to stop working or slow down. Some even suggesting mass incarceration of high-level people throughout the United States. These could all be conspiracies to stir mass panic. Only time will tell.
As a student, I have a lot of questions too.
Going into my last semester as a college student, the last thing I expected was my season and my last months at college were going to be canceled. I was preparing to leave college for good, but it all happened so suddenly. Besides that, I have some technical questions that a lot of people are asking. Since I am kicked out of my dorm does this mean ill get my money back? I highly doubt my school is going to give us our money back. It does not make much sense... we pay to live somewhere and they are not going to allow us to live there, but still take our money? Some teachers suck with online classes and are not teaching well, what are we supposed to do? Take the bad grade because of the ignorant professors? I think colleges had to make quick decisions, but I do not think they understood the full implications of those decisions.
I'm sure you are just as tired of hearing about the coronavirus as I am, I just had somethings to get a few things off my mind. In the next couple of days, I'll be posting topics about our economy and things we can do in quarantine to stay ahead in this time of survival of the fittest.
